She was a victim of identity theft 2 years ago. One of her friends cousin who is an illegal immigrant was able to get hold of her SocIAL SECURITY NUMBER and uses it to apply for a job. She did not find out about it until tax time, when that same person actually filed a return using her Social security number. This is the main reason I ended up on this site and actually enrolled to Lifelock service. I figured I will start the year safely. thanks. Rica P.
